THE SEPTEMBER EDIT

September is the month of big beginnings.

New routines, new goals, new versions of ourselves.

There is something about coming back after summer that makes us want to put everything back in order: our work, our homes, our bodies, our skin, our days.

Suddenly, we want to become the most disciplined, productive, healthy and radiant version of ourselves.

Preferably all at once.

And I see you.

Because if every September begins with a long list of good intentions, why have we already abandoned so many of them by October?

When self-care starts to feel like another performance

Wanting to feel better, stronger or more at ease in our own skin can be an extraordinary form of self-care.

The problem begins when taking care of ourselves starts to feel like yet another performance we have to keep up with.

Six workouts a week.

Oura Ring or Apple Watch tracking everything.

Apps counting every calorie.

Every meal weighed.

Ten thousand steps, even when we are exhausted.

Sleep, supplements, skincare, treatments: everything under control.

I have tried pretty much every way of monitoring myself too.

For a long time, I thought that having every number, every habit and every part of my routine under control meant I was taking better care of myself.

Today, I want nothing to do with that kind of control.

And that is exactly why so many September resolutions do not even make it to October.

Doing more does not necessarily mean taking better care of ourselves.

Sometimes, trying to be impeccable creates the exact opposite of the wellbeing we were looking for.

We tend to imagine transformation as something dramatic. A complete reset. A new body. A perfect routine. A completely new version of ourselves.

But the changes that actually last are usually much quieter.

Your body does not need perfection to respond.

Your skin works in much the same way.

It does not need to be overwhelmed by ten different products every morning and another ten every night simply because September made you feel like you had to “fix everything.”

It needs the right things, used consistently.

Because consistency lasts. Perfection does not.

Be ambitious. And be kind.

Set yourself goals.

Start that project. Book that class. Go back to the gym. Take care of the way you eat. Create a skincare routine that makes your skin feel stronger, healthier and more comfortable.

But leave a little space within those goals for yourself, too.

For the mornings when you are tired.

For the unexpected dinners with friends.

For the workout you will skip.

For the evening when your entire skincare ritual is simply cleansing your face and applying your favourite cream.

Self-care should make us feel better, not constantly under examination.

Maybe the best resolution for September is not to do everything.

Maybe it is choosing what genuinely makes you feel good and doing it often enough that, by October, you are still there.

And in November, too.

This September, make it sustainable.

If I had to start my glow-up from scratch

If I had to start from zero with my glow-up, I would not begin with twenty new habits or an overflowing bathroom shelf.

I would choose a few targeted essentials, each with a clear purpose.

Products and rituals that support the skin instead of overwhelming it. Things I can actually use consistently, because the real luxury of a routine is not how complicated it looks.

It is how good it makes you feel over time.

A daily glow step with Golden Glow Sérum Anti-aging Serum

For a lifted, plumped and radiant complexion, protected against urban pollution, oxidative stress and photoaging.

Its silky, lightweight texture melts into the skin like a second skin, helping to seal in moisture while leaving behind a luminous, glass-skin finish.

I love it as the final step in a daytime skincare routine or as an illuminating primer before make-up.

A weekly reset with Midsummer Night Regenerating Black Mask

A luxurious treatment mask with a velvety texture, enriched with powerful Amazonian botanical extracts and detoxifying crystals, formulated to purify, soothe and deeply regenerate the skin.

The complexion appears instantly rebalanced, smoother and visibly more radiant.

Use it as a weekly ritual or whenever the skin feels like it needs a more intensive overnight reset.

Stimulates regeneration with Silver Future

Its unique combination of 15 lifting peptides, including a Botox-like hexapeptide, helps reduce the appearance of micro-tensions, support skin contractility and visibly smooth and firm the complexion over time.

Enriched with advanced plant-derived exosomes designed for enhanced skin delivery, Silver Future supports cellular repair and regeneration, strengthens the skin barrier and enhances luminosity.

For me, this is the kind of formula that makes sense in a long-term routine: sophisticated, targeted and designed to work with the skin rather than simply adding another step.

Eat your Cellular longevity ritual with SuperHyaluronic Regenerative Hydration Tablets

SuperHyaluronic is more than a supplement. I think of it as a ritual of cellular longevity.

At its heart is the world’s first plant-derived Hyaluronic Acid, naturally extracted from Tremella fuciformis mushroom.

It helps support deep, long-lasting skin hydration, promotes skin regeneration and supports tissue repair from within.

Because the way our skin looks and feels is never only about what we apply on the surface.

With Love, Cecilia.
