Before the Wellness Era, There Was Care

Some brands begin with an idea.
Others begin with a story.

Cecilia Holistic Beauty belongs to the latter.

In the 1970s, Giorgio Perotti founded Vegetal-Progress with a vision that was ahead of its time: understanding nature as a functional system, not as aesthetic inspiration.

During his travels in Africa, he observed something simple yet essential. Butters and plant oils used daily to protect and nourish the skin, not as luxury, but as necessity. From that observation, a path of research took shape, combining phytotherapy, dermonutrition, and scientific innovation.

The goal was never to replicate nature, but to understand it. That vision didn’t end.  It carried forward.

The Evolution

Cecilia Holistic Beauty emerges from this legacy, and brings it into a contemporary dimension.

Cecilia Perotti, founder and scientific director, grew up within this language. Her background in pharmacy and cosmetic science meets a personal exploration of well-being and longevity, transforming inherited knowledge into a clear direction.

Her formulations reflect this balance. Botanical tradition meets modern biotechnology, resulting in products that are essential, highly concentrated, and designed to work with the skin.

The result is a different approach to skincare. Not something that adds. Something that redefines.

Slow Skincare, for real

Slow skincare is easy to talk about.
Living it is something else.

For CHB, time is not an abstract concept.

It’s a real process, rooted in places and experiences.

Capraia, the island where the family spent their summers, is not a backdrop. It’s part of the origin. It’s where nature is observed, followed through its cycles, and understood without interference.

Figs, like many of the raw materials used in the formulations, follow a precise rhythm.

They are harvested only at their optimal moment, when the ingredient reaches its full potential.

And only then do they enter the formulation process.

This means production adapts.
Availability is not constant.
Every formula is tied to real time.

Nature sets the pace.
Formulation follows.

This is where slow skincare becomes tangible.

Not as an idea, but as a method.

Formulations

Every formula begins with precision.

Active ingredients are selected for their function and integrated into systems designed to work in synergy with the skin, respecting its natural mechanisms. Multi-level hyaluronic complexes, biomimetic peptides, plant-derived exosomes, and plant-based collagen come together to build a balance that evolves over time.

Results are not immediate.
They are progressive, consistent, constructed.

Each element has a role. Each choice has direction.

Skin is not forced. It is supported.

Sustainability & Continuous Research

Sustainability here is not stated.
It is evident.

Production remains artisanal. Each product is filled one by one. Packaging is assembled by hand. Glass is chosen not only for its aesthetic, but for its ability to preserve the integrity of the formula while reducing long-term impact.

Every step maintains a human presence.

Cecilia herself still oversees each product before it reaches the final customer. A gesture that goes beyond symbolism and reflects a direct sense of responsibility.

Continuous research runs through every formulation. Each ingredient is carefully selected, maintaining only what is essential and effective, removing what does not serve the skin.

Formulas are built through subtraction.Refined. Intentional. Precise.

In a space that constantly adds,

skin responds to clarity.

Fewer steps.

In a world that accelerates, Cecilia Holistic Beauty chooses to remain. Within processes. Within places. Within time. Here, skincare moves beyond consumption and becomes a position.Choosing CHB is not about buying a product. It is about supporting a value. An idea of beauty that is not built through excess, but revealed, with precision, over time.
